Robert Eve - Calgary North. Age 29, born 1872 in England.

Birth records in England show a Robert George Eve, registered on the yearly quarter of March 1871 ,in Croydon, Surrey.

There is also a record of a Robert Eve aged 14 who arrived in Canada in 1885. Details can be found on the 'Peruvian' Passenger List: Port of Halifax National Archives of Canada: Microfilm Reel No. C-4512 page 2

The 1891 census of Croydon, Surrey shows:
James Eve claiming to be age 49 , occcupation Carman, born Greater Waltham, Essex, with a younger wife, Elizabeth age 34, born Woodford, Essex and three young children
Lily , age 8, Arthur age 5 and John , age 2. the children all being born in Croydon, Surrey

William Eve, age 18, shows as an unmarried boarder in a different household working as a "Carman" and born in Croydon, Surrey. No sign of Robert or George Eve age 20 on the 1891 England census, which is reasonable as Robert George Eve is now in Canada...

Robert married Lillie Maud Dyson, daughter of William H Dyson and Sarah, on 25 Nov 1905 in Calgary, Alberta. (Lillie Maud Dyson was born about 1882 in Quebec.)
