  Research Notes:

We were told by our Mum that Grampa was named Humbert
because his grandfather had worked as a groomsman for
King Umberto of Italy (which seemed like a family tale
to be honest) so when I saw that John and Eliza had a
son named Humbert before Grampa was born and that he
indeed was born in Italy as well as his younger
sister, it all rather came together for me.

Notice that Humbert Jones is not listed with the
family in 1901 so I checked BMD for the period
1891-1901 and found:
Humbert Isaac Jones died 4Q 1893 Age 9

Isaac was John Jones' father's name so that fit
together for me as well.
