General Notes: Lynda was born Nov 4, 1943 in Duncan, B.C. Moved to Kelowna at age 2 months. All schooling ( K through 12) in Kelowna. Worked in Vancouver as a dental assistant for three years before marrying Bob Would (RCMP) in Kelowna in 1965. They lived in Claresholm, St Paul, and Sherwood Park, all in Alberta. Son, Mark, was born in 1968 and daughter, Shelley, was born in 1970. Moved to Ottawa, Ontario, in 1977, then to Vancouver, B.C., in 1989. Lynda received a diploma in Volunteer Management from Vancouver Community college in 1990 and worked at St Paul's Hospital. Bob retired from the RCMP in 1997 and they moved to Kelowna, B.C, where Bob is working in a cherry orchard and Lynda is working at the Cancer Centre for the Southern Interior as the Regional Coordinator of Volunteer Services. Lynda enjoys gardening, reading, x- country skiing, and walking. Lynda married Robert Norton Would, son of Joseph Norton Would and Kathleen Frances Bate, on 19 Jun 1965 in Kelowna, B.C., Canada. (Robert Norton Would was born on 11 Oct 1943 in Vancouver, B.C., Canada.) |
