Louise (Verna Louise) Andow

  General Notes:

Louise was born in Washington, D.C. where her father was stationed with the U.S. Navy. She graduated from Chelan High School in 1982. While in High School Louise was active in soccer, basketball, tennis, and Mat Maids. She also was an avid downhill skier teaching lessons at Echo Valley. Louise was in several plays while in high school including Desperate Ambrose her senior year and was editor of her senior annual. Louise received her Bachelor’s degree at Eastern Washington University with a major in Special Education. She taught at Cosmopolis, Washington, and Manson, Washington. After she married Darin Swinney they moved to Yakima where she taught while Darin finished his degree at Central Washington University. They then moved to the Tacoma area where Louise taught for several years. Before the birth of her first daughter Allysen, Louise enrolled in the Master’s Program. She graduated with a major in elementary education. Louise and Darin purchased a home in Eatonville, Washington and Louise was able to obtain a position at Weyerhauser Elementary teaching Grade 4. Louise and Darin are very involved in the lives of their daughters Allysen born 9-2-1992 and Mandalyn born 4-16-1996.
