Harvey Vickery,the only son of Mr. and Mrs. E. R. Vickery, Taber, has taken up war work, and leaves Tuesday next to join the Y.M.C.A. War Services at Penhold, Alta. Mr. and Mrs Vickery, the latter a daughter of Dr. and Mrs. A. Hamman, have been both members of the United Church senior choir, this fall, of which Mr. Vickery was temporary conductor. A week ago Harvey Vickery was named president of the choir , resigning this evening when he announced his coming departure. For years he has been the chief employee at the Taber meat market and grocery operated by E. R. Vickery.
